Associate Marriage & Family Therapist

Meet Lidwine

Lidwine da Silva, AMFT (she/her) is warm, compassionate, and deeply client-centered. She specializes in supporting teens, couples, parents, and families as they navigate life’s challenges — from stress, anxiety, and depression to grief and major life transitions. She believes that therapy is most effective when it honors each person’s unique experiences, strengths, and preferences.

Lidwine’s approach is collaborative and non-judgmental. She draws from a variety of evidence-based methods — Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness practices — tailoring each session to meet the specific needs and goals of her clients.

Rooted in her Christian faith, Lidwine also welcomes clients who wish to explore their spirituality or integrate their Christian beliefs into the healing process. She offers a safe and compassionate space for those seeking guidance, strength, and hope through both psychological and faith-based perspectives.

Lidwine became a therapist because she believes people are fundamentally well-intentioned and capable of growth when they feel truly heard, seen, and safe enough to explore their inner world. Creating that safe space is at the heart of her work. She holds a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from Santa Clara University and is committed to walking alongside her clients as they discover new ways to heal, connect, and thrive.
